Sylvia Saynt (with Tomato)

In a purple house, 5 year old Sylvia Saynt is playing outside with her friend, Caitlyn.  Caitlyn was 7 years old.  She adored Sylvia.  Sylvia always keeps her eyes on the white gourmet bakery next door.

Two years later, the bakery was for sale and many things changed.  Caitlyn moved to France where most of her family lived.

One day, a family with a dog and son moved in next door.  The son was named Thomas Bob Rice.  He was nicknamed ‘Tomato’ when he was 5.  When Sylvia and Tomato got used to each other, they called each other ‘boyfriend and girlfriend.’  The next day, Sylvia got a dog. She named it Kally.

October 5, 1967 was a special day. Tomato’s mom, Carrie, was born that year.  She turns 38 today.

“Happy Birthday, Mrs. Rice,” Sylvia said.

“Oh thank you, Sylvia,” Carrie said.

“Tomm also has something for you,” said Sylvia.

Tomm was Tomato’s 6 year old dog.  He was like Kally except Kally was a girl and Tomm was a boy.

“Carved dog bones with my name!” Carrie cried. “I love it.  Thank you!”

            “Woof!” Tomm said.

Tomm and Kally have been friends since Tomato moved in.  Now, Tomm and Kally are entering in a new relationship—Level 12:  Puppy Love.  Tomm and Kally usually lick each other on the nose.  Kally is a 5 year old poodle. Sometimes, Tomm is sick and can’t play. Kally gets frustration foam because of that.

Tomm is a Red Sox fan.  Kally is a Yankees.  Tomm and Kally both definitely have something in common—LOVE!

Sylvia has always wanted a sister.  But her mom was 44, not 34.  So they went to the adoption center to find a sister.  Some guy with a girl hairdo was up for adoption

“How about that girl?” Sylvia said pointing to the guy.  “I’ll name you Samantha.”

When they got home the only thing to find out for ‘this girl’ was it was a boy!

“Oh, well gotta name him Sam,” Sylvia said.

Sylvia and Tomato have been called boyfriend and girlfriend ever since they were 7.  Now they are 9.

“Mom, can I go bother Tomato?” Sam said.

“Sam, Tomato and Sylvia are in a new relationship.  Level 3:  Almost married,” Mom said.

“But Mom.  Sylvia has been spending time with that Tomato head!” Sam said.

“I understand, but they like each other,” Mom said.

“Okay, I’ll try to stop,” Sam said.

            “Okay?” Mom said.

            “Okay,” Sam said.

Guess what!?  Tomato and Sylvia are in the same school. Also, they are in the same class!

“Welcome children. I’m Mrs. Chance and I’m your 4th grade teacher,” Mrs. Chance said.

“Psst, what’s your name?” Sylvia whispered.

            “Molly,” Molly whispered back.

As soon as it was recess, Sylvia was playing with Molly.

“Wanna come over later?” Sylvia said.

            “Sure,” Molly said.

At 9:00 at night, Tomato headed with his guitar to Sylvia’s window.

“How about the song Tailand Gal,” Tomato whispered.  “Oh Sylvia, I’m sorry,” Tomato played.  “I know you’re busy crossing the sea.  I know you love me and I love you back.  I know you are my Tailand Gal cat.  Tailand gal, tailand gal, tailand gal cat!”

Sylvia then peeked out from her window.  “That was beautiful, Tomato,” Sylvia said.  “I’m sorry I didn’t include you at recess.”

            “That’s okay,” Tomato said.

Usually, Sylvia’s mom gives Tomato and Sylvia a snack.  Well today, she gave them a pear.

“Mom, this pear is smelly,” Sylvia said.

“And it’s almost liquid, Tomato said.

“First of all, try it,” Sylvia’s mom said.

They tried it.  “Eew!” they both said.

“I could offer you another snack,” Sylvia’s mom said.

“No thanks, we’re good,” Sylvia said.

There is a 9 year old girl named Vicky.  All she does is boss people around. She makes people line up behind her. She cheats on READO and always pranks kindergarteners.

So Tomato and Sylvia make up a song to prove that Vicky is a bossy girl. They can’t sing it anywhere because Vicky will prank Sylvia with a little, I mean BIG prank!  So sorry readers, can’t sing it.

Kally Sylvia’s dog.  Kally is a 5 year old poodle. Kally loves to be cuddled!  So does Tomm.  Kally loves to take walks. So does Jo-Jo Mrowr. That is Sylvia’s new cat.

Sylvia has heard of a new baby show called Higglytown Heroes, but she calls it Higglytown Buttitas.  Sylvia also got a hamster.  Her name is Clara.  Sylvia also dislikes Dora, so she got an angry mob to say ‘down with Dora.”
