The Championships

Mason was at his house shooting basketball hoops when he found out he made the all-star team.  He was very, very excited!!!  Then he called me and asked me if I made the all-star team and I did.  So we were very excited!!

Me and Mason had a game that day.  It was in the last period. It was 54-43.  We were winning and there were three seconds left on the clock.  I got fouled, so I took foul shots.  I made one out of two foul shots.  That game, we won.  It made us go on to the championship. Everyone was excited.

Then we had an all-star baseball game.  Our team was so good that we were undefeated.  We were 5-0.  That means we go to the championship game with the other Clifton Park Team who was 4-1.

They lost to East Greenbush. We lost in the basketball championships, but we still have a lot more baseball to go.

The baseball championships were very, very, very fun, but we got killed (11-1). We weren’t happy, but we still have more to go in Clifton Park.  In fact, we actually made that championship game against Halfmoon.  They scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning.  But, then they scored another three runs in the top of the third. Then in the last inning, we came back to go into five extra innings.  Then it started raining for a delay of the game.

But, I was up with runners on second and third.  I hit a ground ball really, really fast. They missed it. They both came home and we won.  We were so excited everyone gathered up and went to Franki Pizzo’s house for a pool party.
